Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Voluntary Contributions

Jeevandeep Samiti is a non-profit organization, and all donations made through our website or other channels are voluntary acts of charity. By making a donation, you acknowledge that you are supporting our mission to [Insert NGO’s Mission, e.g., provide health and education services] and that these funds are utilized for social welfare activities.

2. No Refund Policy

All donations made to Jeevandeep Samiti are final and non-refundable. Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason, including:

A change of heart or mind.
Disagreement with how funds are specifically allocated (as they are used for the most urgent needs of our programs).
Incorrect donation amount entered by the donor during the transaction.

3. Tax Certificates (Section 80G)

As per the Income Tax Act of India, once a donation is made and an 80G Tax Exemption Certificate is issued, the transaction cannot be reversed. Refunding a donation for which a tax benefit has already been claimed or processed is a violation of tax regulations.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

While we maintain a strict no-refund policy, Jeevandeep Samiti may, at its sole discretion, review requests for refunds in the following rare technical instances:

Duplicate Transactions: If a technical glitch causes your account to be debited twice for the same donation.
Unauthorized Fraudulent Use: If your card or bank account was used without your permission (subject to proof and verification by our payment gateway, Razorpay, and your bank).

To request a review for a technical error:

You must notify us within 3 business days of the transaction.
Send an email to jeevandeepsamiti@gmail.com with your Full Name, Transaction ID, Date, and Proof of Payment.
Approved technical refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days, as per banking timelines.

5. Failed Transactions

If a donation fails but the amount is deducted from your account, the funds are usually reversed automatically by your bank within 5–7 working days. Please contact your bank or the payment gateway (Razorpay) for status updates on failed payments.
