Who We Are
Jeevan Deep Samiti is a grassroots organization rooted in the foothills of the Himalayas, working since 2012 to ignite change where it matters most. Our story began when Mr. Manoj Negi, after retiring from the Indian Army, returned to his homeland with a vision — to uplift rural education, empower women, and inspire a deep respect for nature.
What started as one man’s mission has grown into a collective force for change. Today, we work hand-in-hand with local communities to nurture young minds, protect the environment, and build stronger, more resilient futures.
Our Achievements

Since 2012, our charitable primary school has been a beacon of hope for children in the Himalayan foothills. We provide free, quality education to those who need it most, helping bridge the gap in rural learning. With dedicated teachers and a nurturing environment, we’re not just teaching lessons — we’re building confidence, curiosity, and brighter futures.

— Growing Green Together
Environmental action is at the core of our mission. Every year, we plant over 100 trees with the help of our students and local community — turning awareness into action. In 2024, we planted more than 750 saplings and committed to caring for each one for at least five years. These aren’t just trees — they’re a promise to future generations.

We believe change starts with awareness. That’s why we regularly organize cleanliness drives with our students, encouraging them to take pride in their surroundings and lead by example. These efforts help spark community-wide awareness about hygiene, waste management, and environmental responsibility — creating a cleaner, healthier place to live and learn.

— Bridging The Digital Divide
In regions where computer access is still a luxury, we’ve established a fully functional computer center with 10 well-equipped systems — bringing digital literacy to the heart of the hills. Our center is more than just a classroom; it’s a gateway to opportunity. We provide hands-on computer training not only to our students but also to local youth and community members, empowering them with essential skills for the modern world.
